mr. and mrs. meyers | san diego, california

...#meanttobemeyers2014 was their wedding insta hashtag. Precious. (Or, as I like to annoyingly say, "supes presh". I'm obnoxious.)

I photographed Allie's sister's wedding last December, and not long after was asked to do Allie's wedding this June. Two very different weddings - Kylie's was Snow White chic and Allie's was vintage country-esque. Both incredible. Both stunning. (And I cried at both...big shocker, there.)

I had the honor of doing Allie's and Nick's engagement session earlier this year, and I knew that day that we would all be a great team. See, Allie is also a photographer, and we have very similar beliefs on how things should be documented. We're both very laid back and go-with-the-flow, and I knew she trusted me with her big day. It was a huge compliment.

Their wedding day was so easy. I got to Allie's house a lot earlier than I needed to, and I played Uno with the wedding party. Seriously.

The whole day pretty much kept up like that - not that I played Uno with the wedding party all day, we had other things to do. But I did laugh and joke and dance with them all day.

But...Allie and Nick. The love they have for each other is so clear and it's so visible. They are two very inspiring people and I hope I find a love like that someday.

I love weddings. Especially weddings where the love is just overflowing and there is an ice cream sundae bar. Especially that kind.

I am the luckiest photographer in the world.

Congrats, Allie and Nick! ♥
